Review

I decided to visit this place because it was one of the spots I definitely wanted to check out when looking up places to go in Gongju beforehand.
Fortunately, there were plenty of public parking lots nearby, so I was able to park easily and comfortably before heading to the cafe.
The space on the first floor inside the cafe had rather limited seating, but the second floor had plenty of spacious seats that could even accommodate group gatherings, making it great for visits by larger groups.
The cafe seemed to operate under a concept of researching various types of beans and grains and incorporating them into their menu.
Inside the space, there were explanations of different beans, stories about local farmers, and an area where you could purchase related products, which made looking around quite engaging.
Here, you can taste misutgaru (roasted multi-grain shake) made with various types of beans. Wanting to try a bit of everything, I ordered the Misu Sampler, the Signature Drip Coffee, and the Anjeonki Wheat Waffle together.
In particular, the drip coffee was said to be blended with coffee and grains, which made me very curious about how it would taste.
After ordering, they handed us a cute order number tag with an actual bean placed inside.
We took our seats and looked around the cafe while waiting for the drinks.
I assumed the drinks would come out quickly after a short wait, but even after waiting for quite a while, nothing arrived—and we even saw guests who arrived after us receiving their drinks first.
Thinking something seemed off, I inquired at the counter, and as expected, our order had been missed.
Since the cafe wasn't overly crowded, it was a bit disappointing and hard to understand why it was overlooked.
Shortly after confirming the oversight, our drinks and desserts were served, and the staff member kindly included a complimentary Cake Bar along with an apology.
Although it was slightly disappointing initially, in the end, the wait wasn't too long, so it was all right.
The Misu Sampler came with three varieties of misu: Seonbijabi bean, Cheongtae (green) bean, and Heukgaeng.
Tasting each one slowly, I was amazed at how completely different the flavor was depending on the type of bean.
The flavor closest to the familiar, everyday misutgaru was the Heukgaeng, while the Cheongtae bean and Seonbijabi bean offered deeper, nuttier flavors.
Personally, my preference in order was Seonbijabi bean, Cheongtae bean, and Heukgaeng.
The Seonbijabi bean had a sweet and richly rounded flavor, the Cheongtae bean carried a subtle hint of green tea fragrance, and the Heukgaeng was savory yet felt slightly lighter.
If I visit again next time, I would choose the Seonbijabi bean misu without hesitation.
For the Signature Drip Coffee, I couldn't particularly detect a strong grain presence, but it was still a pleasantly savory and satisfying cup of drip coffee.
While it's hard for me to give a detailed assessment of desserts like the waffle and cake bar since I don't know much about them, they were easy to enjoy and quite tasty.
Overall, the atmosphere was cozy and the beverages were uniquely delicious, making it a great cafe to spend some relaxing time.
