Review

Cheonghakdong Chic Naengmyeon is a famous naengmyeon restaurant, so it is always crowded whenever you go.
Still, the parking lot is large and well-equipped, and the inside of the restaurant is quite spacious, so even if there is a wait, the turnover rate is high and you don't have to wait very long before being guided to a seat.
Upon entering the restaurant, you order at the counter first and make a prepayment.
Once payment is done, the staff guides you to a seat.
The seasoning (dadeqi) here is on the spicy side, so if you cannot eat spicy food well, it would be better to avoid bibim-naengmyeon.
Alternatively, you can ask for the seasoning to be less spicy when ordering.
We ordered one regular mul-naengmyeon and one large mul-naengmyeon.
Ordering the large size didn't dramatically increase the portion, it was just slightly more noodles.
Still, if you are going to eat it anyway, I would recommend ordering the large size.
Chic (arrowroot) water and warm broth are self-served.
If you take a sip of the warm broth, you can immediately feel that the broth is quite rich, and even this single cup made me realize that this place is a true local favorite.
After drinking the broth and waiting for a short while, the ordered dishes came out faster than expected.
The phrase "high turnover rate" was truly felt in moments like this.
Although you can add mustard and vinegar, I personally recommend eating it plain (as-is).
That alone was rich enough in flavor, leaving absolutely no regrets.
As rumored, it was indeed a great restaurant.
