Spicy Tonkatsu

I suddenly craved tonkatsu, so I visited Life Tonkatsu Head Office which I had kept an eye on.

Since it was the weekend and the neighborhood is always crowded, I searched beforehand to see if there was a separate reservation platform.
There was no separate reservation platform; it was a system of writing on a waiting list on-site.

I went there unprepared but prepared to wait long, but fortunately there was no queue.
Seeing that a waiting list had already been filled out, it seemed we visited at a good time, avoiding the peak hours.

Since it was our first visit, I felt we absolutely had to order the Signature Tonkatsu, and I spent a long time debating what to order for the other dish.
Looking at the menu, which featured various toppings and sauces, there were many items that made me curious about their flavors, so the decision took a while.

After careful consideration, we ordered the Spicy Tonkatsu at the standard Shin Ramyun spiciness level.

The dishes came out not long after.
The Signature Tonkatsu was in the classic Korean style, but the sauce felt a bit richer than I had expected.

The Spicy Tonkatsu featured an impressive bean sprout topping.
It had a strong smoky flavor and wasn't too spicy, making it go very well with rice.

Personally, while the basic tonkatsu was good, it is a place that makes me curious about how the other tonkatsu dishes with various toppings would taste next time.

Interestingly, they also had Jjamppong on the menu, and seeing the next table ordering it along with the tonkatsu made it look quite delicious.
If I get the chance, it would be nice to order Jjamppong as well.
