6-Type Assorted Beef Set

To escape the heat, I sought refuge in a nearby cafe, and for dinner, I craved some expensive beef for a change, so I went to Motoishi.
When I looked it up, it said there's usually a long wait, so I went there feeling a bit nervous.

As a side note, parking at Bukgwangjang is not easy and can be quite chaotic, so it's good to be prepared in advance.

Ordering was done via a kiosk system, and we ordered the 6-Type Assorted Beef Set.
Since soft tofu stew (sundubu-jjigae) was included in the basic side dishes, we didn't add any extra sides.
We paired the food with Kirin draft beer and Highballs.

Not long after, the grill and meat were set up.
We were instructed to grill the meat in a counter-clockwise order. They also served some mochi-like rice cakes and told us to grill them and dip them in a grain syrup-like sauce.

Since it is a Japanese yakiniku restaurant, we decided to grill and savor the meat slowly piece by piece.
The meat was overall fresh and delicious.
You can enjoy it by pairing it with basic salt, soy sauce, or wasabi to your liking, and everything went well together.

I enjoyed the meal satisfyingly.
Seeing the initial amount of meat, I thought about ordering more if it wasn't enough, but eating it slowly made me surprisingly full.

The soft tofu stew that came with it was a bit disappointing for me.
It tasted like they put ramen seasoning in it, as the strong flavor of Jin Ramen powder stood out too much.
I originally planned to order a side of ramen, but after tasting the soft tofu stew, I figured the ramen might taste similar, so I skipped it.

Overall, the meat was delicious, but the soft tofu stew was a letdown.
Still, it wasn't a bad place to enjoy high-quality meat in a simple setting.
