Sinchang Gukbap Main Branch

I visited the main branch of Sinchang Gukbap, one of the famous pork rice soup restaurants in Busan.
I went to check it out after it was introduced on Michin Matjib (Crazy Good Restaurants).

Since I visited during a late lunch hour on a weekday, luckily I could enter immediately without a wait.

Perhaps because we looked like tourists from out of town, they guided us to a seat where famous people had sat.
Actually, those things aren't very important to us, but since there were plenty of seats anyway, we sat in a spot where a celebrity had been.

Cute enough, each chair had the name of who sat there.
I sat in the seat where Chairman Lee Jae-yong had sat.

There were many celebrities' signatures on the walls.

The pork rice soup I ordered came out quickly.
I ordered the standard toryeom (rinsed with hot broth) pork rice soup and ttaro-gukbap (rice and soup served separately), but since I eat everything well and have an unrefined palate, I didn't feel a big difference.
Both were delicious.

It was a clear, light style without being greasy.

It's a style that might be polarizing, but I liked it.
