Deliberating on what to have for dinner, we heard there was a delicious jjukkumi (webfoot octopus) restaurant nearby and headed over without hesitation.
It happened to be close to the cafe we were at and is usually very popular, so we set off for the restaurant right away.

There was a spacious parking lot in front of the restaurant, making parking easy.
Looking at the location, it is somewhat difficult to reach without a car, which seems why they prepared such a large parking lot.

Fortunately, we went slightly earlier than the dinner rush, so there were seats available.

Sitting down and looking at the menu, there was also a 1-person set meal that comes with stir-fried jjukkumi, cold acorn jelly soup (muksabal), salad, pizza, and rice.
Wanting to focus more on the jjukkumi rather than other sides, we ordered a medium Jjukkumi Bossam.

While waiting briefly after placing our order, the seats quickly filled up.
It was indeed a renowned and popular dining spot.
Perhaps because there are golf courses nearby, we also saw groups visiting together after golfing.

Not long after ordering, the food was served promptly.
The generous amount of both pork and jjukkumi exceeded my expectations, which was great.
Instead, this menu item is not meant for mixing jjukkumi into rice, but for wrapping the meat and octopus together.

It was my first time eating here, and true to the restaurant's name, it had a prominent smoky aroma that made it delicious.
It was also delicious when eaten with flying fish roe.
The pairing of jjukkumi and flying fish roe feels like an obvious classic nowadays, which made me wonder when that started.

Since we don't eat much rice, we just wrapped the pork and jjukkumi together, which was a pleasantly filling portion for 2 adults.
If you order extra rice to go with it, I think it could even feed up to 3 people.

Given that it's bossam, the portion was reasonable and the jjukkumi was tasty, so I'd likely visit again if the opportunity arises.

As a note, you can choose the spiciness level of the jjukkumi, and we ordered the standard medium level.
The staff member mentioned it was about as spicy as Shin Ramyun, but personally it felt milder than that.
It was at a level that even those who can't handle spicy food could enjoy without difficulty.
