A burger spot recommended by our guide.
They said Mr Truffle here is the best burger they've had anywhere in the world — and that many people agreed.

To celebrate our last night in Australia, we followed the guide's recommendation and headed here.

It's such a popular spot that I'd strongly recommend making a reservation.
We booked online in advance and arrived right on time.
If we hadn't reserved, we would have had to wait a long while.

Once seated, ordering is done via QR code — which actually made things easier for us, as we tend to be indecisive.

We started with the Mr T-ruffle Burger our guide strongly recommended, then added the Blame Canada Burger we'd seen all over the internet.
We also ordered the beer our guide insisted we try alongside the burgers, plus another one from the menu that looked good.
And since fries are non-negotiable with burgers, we naturally ordered the truffle fries too.

The food arrived without too long a wait.
The moment I took a bite of the Mr T-ruffle Burger with a sip of beer, I completely understood what our guide had meant.
It instantly became the best burger I've ever had.
The saltiness was just right, and the truffle aroma, cheese, and caramelized onions all blended together beautifully.

The Blame Canada Burger also delivered a rich, satisfying flavor — the sweetness of the maple bacon paired wonderfully with the poutine.

I fully agreed that this is a wildly popular spot among locals.
A perfect place to enjoy with a cold beer.

The truffle fries were delicious too, but the portion was so generous and the richness crept up on us fast — we inevitably left a little on the plate.

If I ever make it back to Australia, this burger joint is a definite return visit.
