Observatory Hill Rotunda

Having seen this spot mentioned in countless Australia travel blogs as a famous nighttime viewpoint, we timed our visit to arrive right as the sun was setting.

When we arrived after a leisurely walk, many people had already claimed their spots and were busy taking photos.
We laid down a mat, found our spot, and waited for the sun to set.
The wind was fairly strong, but fortunately it wasn't too cold.
adcard Before we knew it, while we were zoning out, the sun had gone down, and the night view was as stunning as rumored.
Sydney Harbour Bridge looked spectacular, and in the distance we could also spot Luna Park Sydney with its somewhat unsettling entrance designed like a giant clown face.

We zoned out a little longer before moving on to find somewhere for dinner.
