Sydney Opera House

Seeing the Sydney Opera House in person after only ever seeing it in photos was surreal.

Our visit happened to coincide with the Vivid Sydney festival, so there was plenty to take in.
The night views were stunning, with light installations scattered all around the building.

Originally, a show featuring 1,000 drones painting the sky was scheduled,
but an incident occurred a few days earlier where a large number of drones crashed mid-show, and all drone shows were cancelled afterwards.
They were replaced with fireworks and a laser show instead.

It was a bit disappointing, but the fireworks and laser show were decent in their own right.
There was plenty to see and the night views were absolutely beautiful.
