Review
A Sydney Italian restaurant famous for its wood-fired bread.
Known for always having long waits, but we lucked out walking in and were seated immediately.

The restaurant was quite large with plenty of staff.
Everything seemed well organized, and a floor manager was clearly overseeing the whole dining room.

One unique touch: when your food is ready, you clap to signal a server,
and before they bring it to the table, the manager personally comes over to drizzle salt and olive oil.

The ordering format is built around the wood-fired bread as the base, then you pick the toppings to go with it.
We kept it simple with tomato and burrata cheese.
Fresh out of the oven, the fluffy bread with cheese, salt, and olive oil was an absolutely perfect combination.

For pasta, we went with the prawn-based gnocchetti.
The salty seafood and prosciutto worked beautifully together, and the garlic shoots added a great crunch.
Everything was cut to similar sizes, making each bite easy to enjoy — and it was the best pasta I've ever had for my taste.

The locals at the next table were also going hard on cotoletta-style dishes.
Highly recommended overall.
