Review

I signed up for a full-day Great Ocean Road tour.
Since the distances are huge and the popular spots fill up fast, I chose an early-departure tour.
We gathered at the meeting point at the crack of dawn, and with no latecomers, we were able to set off quickly.
Throughout the long drive, our guide kept us entertained with stories and history about Australia — never a dull moment.
Unlike just admiring the scenery, having background knowledge changed the way I looked at everything during the tour.
We were lucky enough to spot a rare moving koala.
The guide said seeing a koala in motion in Australia is like hitting the lottery, so I actually bought a Korean lotto ticket after getting home.
I didn't win.
At the Twelve Apostles viewpoint, we took a helicopter ride to see it from above.
Time was tight so we grabbed souvenirs in a hurry too.
Razorback and Tom & Eva rock formations were also impressive.
Tom and Eva are named after the only two survivors of the 1878 Loch Ard shipwreck. Tom... Eva...
The famous photo spots are usually so crowded that people wait hours to get a shot, but thanks to our early start, we had them all to ourselves and took photos at our leisure.
The guide was kind and attentive throughout — overall a great experience.
