Review

After the tour ended, I picked the most appealing spot from the guide's restaurant recommendations.
It was cold and I was craving something exotic with a warm broth.
Song Fa Bak Kut Teh from Singapore came to mind, and I figured a Thai restaurant would have something in a similar vein.
It's located in a basement, but once inside it was surprisingly spacious.
The robot serving system was a cool modern touch.
Orders are placed via QR code at the table and payment is handled instantly — no language barrier at all.
The only slightly annoying part was having to register a card upfront before paying.
Travel Wallet cards are supported, and if registering is too much hassle, you can request a separate payment at the counter.
The Pad Thai was the richest and most flavorful I've ever had.
The local prawns were big and plump — probably why.
The Spicy Beef Tendon Soup tasted familiar, like Korean galbitang, but with a slightly sour edge to the broth.
It didn't bother me at all — I actually liked it.
Still not sure why it's called Spicy.
Overall a satisfying meal.
It's a large 150-seat restaurant that's popular with Thai locals too.
