In the Naturalness Between the Trees

For a short summer vacation, we looked for a pension with a great ambiance and booked a stay.

There were 5 rooms in total, among which the Caravan was the most popular.
We booked a duplex (loft-style) room.

Perhaps because the host is a carpenter, it was a cozy and charming space with hand-crafted wooden furniture.

Inside the room, there were music CDs and a player that showed the host's musical taste.
I was delighted to find a CD by Zitten, one of my favorite indie artists.

Because it was a duplex structure, there were stairs leading to the upper floor, but the steep incline was close to a ladder, making going up and down slightly inconvenient.
In particular, I had to walk down carefully when going to the bathroom at night.

There was also a separate shared lounge space, which was great as we could brew coffee and ice was also provided.
Inside, there were casual board games and charming stamps as well.

If you let the host know in advance and pay a separate fee, they prepare the barbecue grill at your desired time.
We simply grilled pork neck, thin skirt meat (anchangsal), and mushrooms.

We had originally brought ramyun to cook as well, but eating slowly made us full, so we unfortunately couldn't eat the ramyun.

There was also a small valley stream right in front where we could dip our feet.
There were quite a few bugs so many couples gave up, but we brought insect repellent so we were able to dip our feet comfortably enough.
Still, bugs gathering around was inevitable.

Even in the sweltering summer, the air conditioning worked great, making it a wonderful space to enjoy a cool and relaxing vacation.
