Review

We were looking for something to grab and eat at Bondi Beach, and landed on fish and chips — something we hadn't tried locally yet.
Looking it up, it was highly recommended by both Koreans and locals alike, so we headed there.
We ordered the Small Platter, and since many reviews insisted on trying the homemade sauce, we grabbed Homemade Tartare Sauce as well.
The homemade sauce is self-serve from the fridge — just grab one and pay for it at the register.
When you order, they re-fry everything fresh and hot — just take a number and wait.
The owner seemed to know a little Korean and spoke to us in broken Korean, which was charming.
When the food was ready, they also asked if we wanted chicken stock sprinkled on.
We sat down at Bondi Beach to eat, and the Small Platter was anything but small.
I can't eat a lot of fried food to begin with, but even accounting for that, the portion was quite generous for two.
The homemade sauce was nothing special — something spicier would've cut through the greasiness better than tartare.
A heads-up: when eating takeout at Bondi Beach, birds will swoop in and snatch your food, so watch out.
Luckily, a lone seagull had positioned itself beside us, keeping other birds mostly at bay.
It was probably scheming to have it all to itself, but unfortunately that seagull didn't get a single bite either.
