Review

The innocence of a family member has been proven, but rather than rejoicing, it's unpleasant and uncomfortable that chaos has returned to the once-peaceful household.
It's an uncomfortable truth.
Jacko was falsely accused, but he probably wasn't purely innocent in character.

Neither Poirot nor Miss Marple appears. This book has a narrative structure closer to a family drama than a traditional mystery novel.

It was also produced as a BBC drama, but the ending is different and the characters' psychology is different.
It feels like they only took the general flow.
