Review
A work called one of the world's top three mystery novels, I think it's a timeless masterpiece.
The story begins when eight men and women who seem to have no connection to each other are invited to a luxurious mansion on 'Indian Island', a remote island off the Devon coast, by a mysterious figure named 'U. N. Owen'.
Upon arriving at the island, they learn that the host who invited them is absent, and only a servant couple who had arrived first welcomes them.
Thus, eight guests and two servants, a total of ten people, are isolated on the island.
After dinner, a mysterious voice suddenly flows from a gramophone, exposing one by one the 'murder' charges of all ten people on the island, who had cleverly evaded legal judgment in the past, along with their names.
As they fall into shock and confusion, people start dying one by one, exactly like the lyrics of the nursery rhyme
It's like a dark fable asking the meaning of justice.
