I am surprised by the freshness of the subject matter in Bernard's works, but left with disappointment at the too grandiose and forced conclusions.
A giant imagination with an anticlimactic ending Compared to the freshness of volume 1, the development of volume 2 leaves something to be desired.
The mystery and tension carefully built up were solved too easily with the appearance of a too convenient setup.
The narrative structure also repeats too much, which gives a sense of déjà vu.
