Review

As the second full-length novel of Detective Galileo, it is a work that focuses more on the most classic proposition of mystery: how did they kill.

The two core keys that penetrate this work are the concepts of Imaginary Solution and Salvation.
Imaginary Solution symbolizes a solution that is theoretically possible but can never exist in reality, namely a perfect crime.
On the other hand, Salvation holds the contradictory meanings of both a merciful act of sparing a life and a cold preparation process for certain judgment.

It seems to be a work that shakes the conventions of this genre in that it's about the effort not to kill rather than the effort to kill.

There are characters who approach a single goal, the truth, in different ways.

Personally, I think it's one of the most bold and ingenious tricks.
